What is Together Sourcing?

HazTime is a new platform unlocking the earning potential in everyone.  As mentioned in the previous blog post about not being an outsourcing platform, it’s about connections.  IRL (in real life) connections.  And it’s about doing something together.  Whether it’s learning something from someone, having a conversation, joining someone on an adventure or just getting a hand with the gardening, HazTime is about togetherness.  Or “together sourcing”.

We’ve tried calling things “social consulting” or “knowledge sharing”.  Yes it’s that too but the fundamentals it’s about being not alone, and doing something together.

Whilst we hack away at build the platform we are discussing how it can be used and polling others.  My flatmate was comparing it to Freelancer and AirTasker (🤔why hasn’t she read my previous blog post?) but it’s not about outsourcing and it’s not online.  It’s about having a platform for getting something done together with someone else.  AKA Together Sourcing.  Will the term stick?  Probably not.  But it helps define what we are and what we aren’t.  When you want to do something together with someone else.  Go to the Museum, pack your house (together!), weed that yard, jam (as in musically!), make a costume, learn to use your go shopping or just have some good conversation at the latest “in” restaurant and cafe without strings, we want HazTIme to be the platform that helps you connect with someone.

Find someone to do something together.  For fun or to make it more fun.  Or just to share an experience together.
